Teacher's Guide

This Guide includes an outline of user-centred design (UCD) and its relevance to good design, then delves deeper into the philosophy of UCD and the iterative design process at its centre. It then deals with how to teach UCD and shows how it fits in with both new and existing Design & Technology topics. Strategies for planning your teaching are given, and how to adapt some of your existing Schemes of Work so that they clearly include UCD elements. Finally, signposts lead you to further resources to delve more deeply into UCD.
